Why Boundary Waters Canoe Trippers choose Piragis Northwoods Company as their Canoe Trip Outfitter?
"I thought the Piragis team did an awesome job. The equipment was first class, Steve Johnson was an absolute superstar and other than the weather it was truly exceptional. We would highly recommend you guys. Best, Andy Fisher Just wanted to say thank you for our recent outfitting trip. We greatly appreciate everything you guys did for us. Holding our 6 boxes of mailed gear for us was especially helpful since we flew to the Cities & drove a rental car to Ely. Mailing our gear helped insure it wasn’t going to get lost at the last minute as misplaced baggage on the airline. WE had a great trip & hopefully we’ll be back next summer! Our recent trip was Fantastic! Well done! Patrice
We had a wonderful trip. I have been working and running therapeutic wilderness and camp programs for 17 years and have worked with many outfitters in that time. You guys have a really nice and well done set up and staff. You provided all the logistics, essential information, maps etc and had the gear we couldn't fly in with us on hand. Of course, great location. Adam our shuttle was fantastic too. Best wishes, Matthew Weneta
Best regards from the Big Apple, Joanna Enjoy the pictures!! What a great fishing hole we found on our trip to Iron Lake, a trip that I would highly recommend to anyone interested in some great fishing! And the moose - this was 4am wake up call recommended by drew for our entry and we saw two moose between the 160 portage and Nina Moose lake between 6AM and 7:30 how cool! So, if you are planning to take a canoe trip this coming season, give us a chance to make your trip a success. We promise that we will do everything we can to make sure you have the best canoe trip possible. We can't control the weather or the bugs - but we'll even try to do that! It has been said, that if you fish from a canoe with a Piragis logo on it, you don't need to bring your fishing rod - the fish see that logo, and just jump into the canoe. :-) |

Join the Howl with the Wolves Guided Canoe Camping Trip
The next morning we will embark on our journey through the wilderness of the wolf. We will be entering pristine wolf habitat, where, if we keep our eyes and ears alert, we may be lucky enough to see one in the wild. The trip route includes the chance to see waterfalls, pictographs, and maybe even floating bogs, along with fishing, hiking, and relaxation opportunities. Don’t forget to bring your camera so you can capture the amazing scenery, wildlife, and good old-fashioned campfire fun. This is one wilderness experience that you will not want to miss, and the chance of a lifetime to see a wolf in the wild. |
