With 8 shopping days left before Christmas, what shipping option should you choose?  Thanks to all of our loyal customers! You've made another great season possible and our elves have been busy taking orders, picking orders and lovingly packing orders! We are still shipping orders out on the day you place them, so there are still a few ways that standard shipping can get to you by Thursday, Christmas Eve. The closer you are to Minnesota, the higher the possibility. Beginning Friday, though, you'll probably want to upgrade your shipping to 3 or 2 day express to insure its delivery on time. We ship using UPS and the folks in brown are working overtime these days to get everything where it has got to go on time. |

Piragis Northwoods Canoe Trip Outfitting Update
Clients have been calling daily to begin booking their Boundary Waters and Quetico canoe trips for next summer. From scout groups, to solo trips and everywhere in between, we've got you covered with the finest and lightest gear for canoe country. Being on trail with trustworthy equipment is a must and each year we buy new gear and new canoes for our rental fleet. If you've never done a full outfitting trip or gotten your food from us, you should check out our newly updated MENU. Don't rough it when it comes to food, that can be some of the highlights of the trip -- fantastic meals. Call Bert or Drew with any questions you may have at 1-800-223-6565. Every year some of our canoe trip clients give their families and friends the gift of a Boundary Waters canoe adventure. Perhaps you've been itching to do just that -- call us today, get the wheels turning and get in the lottery for Boundary Waters Permits. You give us a trip deposit and PRESTO, you've got the perfect gift for a family that loves the outdoors. We can start reserving Quetico permit 5 months in advance. That means that this is the month for May 2010 permits. If you are planning a June Quetico trip, we’ll want to get that set pretty soon so we can be ready to make that important call for your permit. For the Boundary Waters, we can now get you into the lottery. That started December 1st and goes until January 15th. So, if you know the exact date you want to start as well as your entry point choices, give Bert or Drew a call to get things rolling. If you need any help with any type of trip planning or routing, we are more than happy to help you out. Lots of reservations have already started to come in for 2010. We look forward to your calls and emails all winter. It’s never too early to think about a canoe trip in this special wilderness.
