Boundary Waters Guided Canoe Trips in the Wilderness with Piragis Northwoods Company from Ely, Minnesota.  Six days in the wilderness with a guide is a fantastic opportunity to escape and discover the true meaning of vacation.  To be able to sketch and paint for a week nearly without interruption is something that you may only be able to do once in a lifetime.  We've got the perfect setting:  a little place we like to call our backyard... the Boundary Waters, BWCAW.

5 day guided canoe trip in the Boundary Waters
First and Last Night hotel room in Ely:


A special guided Boundary Waters canoe trip for Lily fans right after the Lilypad Picnic this summer. The group is limited to 7 fans and two guides. The trip will be geared to novice paddlers but will get back into deep wilderness. $500 of the fee from each tripper will go to the North American Bear Center as a donation.

Your trip begins and ends with nights spent in Ely where we encourage you to experience the fine dining of our favorite restaurant, the Chocolate Moose!

Items you should bring:


  Clothing
Two pair of pants (nylon or quick dry)
Two shirts (nylon/ fleece/ poly) 
Three pair of underwear
Shorts and T-shirt
Multiple pair of appropriate socks 
Good rain gear (essential for a good time)
Swimsuit
Footgear
Wet boots (sandals (Keens)/ swampers/ chota quetico trekker)  
Dry boots (tennis shoes/ camp shoes)
  Headwear
Hat with a wide brim or visor for sun protection
Bandanna
Headlamp w/ batteries
Headnet for bugs

Sunscreen and lipbalm
